My name is Mel (Melanie Wardle) and I publish The Village Connection. I have lots of experience publishing this type of magazine - my original magazine in Fleet is in its fifth year of publishing - and over this time I have had great feedback from both my advertisers and readers.

The Village Connection is not just full of adverts, we have features, recipe pages, puzzles, etc. Local residents tell me they enjoy reading my magazines and if they are reading them then they are seeing your advert regularly too.
Making Advertising Easy for Everyone
Don’t worry if you don’t have an advert, I work with a great Designer and I will organise everything for you at a very reasonable cost (design of a 1/4 page advert is £15 plus VAT).
Shelf Life
One of the most important characteristics that makes my magazine special is that readers will keep it. Time and again people tell me they keep their latest magazine for reference, giving them immediate access to advertisers when their services are needed.
Repetitive Advertising
Readers may not immediately need a service but they will recognise and develop a familiarity with businesses who regularly advertise and get in touch when they need their service. Repetitive advertising undoubtedly yields the best results and the affordability of my advertising rates means you can afford to advertise regularly.
Affordable Advertising
I am pleased to say that I am told my rates are very reasonable which means you can benefit from advertising regularly. For example an eighth of a page advert only costs £16 per month plus VAT (min 6mth booking).
Distribution
I print 2000 copies per month and alternate between two different distribution areas so 4000 different homes receive the magazine over two months.

All current advertisers also appear in the directory on my website free of charge, making it even easier for readers to find your details and get in touch.
